NEW RELEASE – GOAT NRG

Released on February 10, 2023, Seth Jaxx returns from the cryo chamber with his latest and greatest release yet, GOAT NRG. Partnering up with Alberta-based producers XaViOn and hazzy4l and engineered by 90 Proof of Lxst Religion Records, Jaxx is back right off the bat with a catchy and relatable hook. Flutes and keyboards intertwine in such a way that the instrumental melody seems to phase in and out as if it were a ringtone over heavy bass and insane snare progressions. Jaxx matter-of-fact-ly informs the listener of his newly realized (but always known) big man energy. Edging towards humorous bars, the young MC just as effortlessly switches his flow and thoughtstream to drop clever comparisons and observations on the everyday grind of the life of an artist and the pursuit of greatness, separating himself from the rest with his anecdotes and assurance that he is not distracted nor discouraged by the uphill battle. He encourages those that are walking their talk to do the same.

“Used to run around tryna find my tribe

Til I realized none of y’all on my vibe

You attract what you are, put out GOAT energy

It’s like bitch please this ain’t elementary”

Seth Jaxx: GOAT NRG

Right off the bat, Jaxx lays out his innermost thoughts and his comfortability in his now fully-realized position. The most important thing is authenticity, and we would expect nothing less from the 604 Rebel. As a younger man, Jaxx reveals that he did not always put himself first, and it wasn’t until he began to respect himself for the unique person and artist he is, that he became truly confident in it. When he recognized that even though he was far from a true GOAT, he had the energy within him to become one. This was the moment in which Seth Jaxx was born for the second time, in his own image. Disregarding the negativity and doubt from his brain imposed upon it by years of mockery and abuse, the Canadian rapper shuts it all down and becomes the man he always knew he was meant to be.

“You can listen but you don’t have to accept me

They envy me like a Bored Ape NFT”

Seth Jaxx: GOAT NRG

Solidifying and simultaneously dating himself to the current times of 2022, Seth Jaxx knows that infamy is another form of fame. Controversial like paying a house for a digital blockchain jpeg, modern symbology and references to popular culture are prevalent in his lyrics. The mid-to-post-90’s era was extremely influential in it’s technology to the point it created the first digital common culture that was not tied to a region. Jaxx, spearheading this generation, knows that his true tribe is the one he is meant to lead, not follow, and the one that grew up on the same media, culture, and across continents and oceans with no borders. Nevertheless, Jaxx has the chi of the GOATs within him and the collected knowledge of his predecessors, both in music and in society as an old soul. Yet, Seth Jaxx is the new generation. Seth Jaxx is the new school, reloaded.
